HV Technician - FIFO

About the Role

Our strategic plan for growth means, HES are searching for HV Technicians to join our Resources team.  The HES Resources team, provide shutdown services to the resource sector within the Pilbara and surrounding areas, as well many other mining, oil and gas and infrastructure customers across the whole of WA.

The successful candidate will;

• Have experience with or willingness to learn HV/LV Maintenance and Testing
• Have a Safety and Compliance Focus
• Have experience working in a mining environment
• Be a team player that is always willing to help and mentor others

The successful Candidate should also have experience in some of the following areas;

• HV/LV Switchgear Testing
• Transformer Testing
• Protection Relay / Protection Scheme Testing
• Earth System Testing
• Motor Testing
• HV Cable Testing
• Thermographic Surveys

Due to the nature of our business, the point of hire is required to be based in Perth & Surrounding Areas.

This role is classified as a FIFO position with occasional Metro or Workshop posts as required.

• Commissioning Experience
• Ability to work Unsupervised and ability to Supervise others
• Manual Driver’s License

• Ability to interpret drawings and complete fault-finding activities.
