Level 3 Circuit Breaker Service

Summary

Circuit breaker arrived at HES Workshop with very high operations and no HES service history. From preliminary findings (high contact resistance between all contacts and high operations) it was found that the circuit breaker required a level 3 service.

Solution

HES technicians completed YSF6 CB Level 3 Service, finding multiple issues requiring repairs. We were able to utilise our inhouse stock of spare parts to complete the replacement of 3 x internal contacts, motor charge limit switch and trip and close coils. All works were completed and the circuit breaker was returned to service with our client within a short timeframe.
